I cannot tell its longevity yet. It was applied for the first time today. In my opinion, it is much better than past wax. Easier to apply and wipe dry. I noticed a wonderful bright shine immediately with little effort. Now to see its longevity. As a side note, very little wax was used on my Hyundai Sonata.
So far I'm a bit impressed by the results and shine it have my car after 1st time application. Hopefully I'll get to see the same shine after my next carwash. But so far it seems like a really good product.
The product arrived on time and in good condition. It works well and has a nice design. The seller was responsive and helpful when I had a question. I would recommend this product and this seller to anyone.
To start: I did not receive this product free, nor was I compensated in any way. It’s a shame this has to be said.In full transparency, I used this on on an 8 month old 2018 Mazda CX-5 with a premium factory paint (Soul Red Crystal). The paint is pretty impeccable condition, so if you’re using this on an older car, you may have more noticeable results (whether good or disappointing, depending on your paint quality.).Overall, I think this is an above average quick detailer spray, albeit a slightly pricy one. I do think the shine quality is a notch above something like Griot’s, but just barely.Product applied easily and wiped off easily with absolutely no hazing or streaking. Bonus points that you can use this to treat your wheel, windows, and trim as well. Added a slightly deeper depth to the paint, but no more than a full claybar and coat of quality wax would do (though this is less work). As I spent a few hours washing the car and about twenty minutes applying this, you’ll have to wait for an update as to how well this “ceramic” spray beads up water as I’m not undoing my work! That may change it to a 4/5 star review if it sheets off well.I don’t know that I’d spend $20 again on this. The results are decent but not as awe-inspiring as viral marketing may lead you to believe. Take that at face value, as my car’s paint is nearly brand new and we’ll maintained, so your mileage may vary. Nothing is a replacement for a day’s worth of clay barring and waxing.UPDATE: after applying two coats of this a few weeks ago, we had a late-season snowstorm Saturday, followed by constant rain. I added additional photos today to show how much this product beads water. I was floored. I have never waxed this car since I leased it last August- it never beaded up this well. I’ve adjusted to five/five stars. I recommend without hesitation.
Had watched all the review videos but was still skeptical when I made the decision to try this product. However when I first used it and again, I was totally surprised that it did give a very good slickness to the surfaces of my car. Definately will NOT last 6 months probably maybe 1-3 if you never wash the car. But I wash my car every other day through the car wash and it does come off. BUT! because it is so easy to wipe on with a slightly damp cloth and buff off and the product lasts, so the price to quantity seems reasonable. To get the most out of this, do not spray directly onto the car's surface as you'll lose a lot of product into the air. Instead, spray onto a slightly damp clean cloth and doing so from the side of the car that is blocking any breeze so it is not wasted. And spray very close to the cloth and use enough to make the cloth damp. Do not worry about doing a square foot at a time. Go ahead and do an entire side sliding the cloth with product several times over the same area to get complete coverage. Then when your cloth feels no longer damp (product is on the car) if it has been several minutes since application, buff it with a different clean cloth to a beautiful shine.Spray more product on a new side (refold the cloth applicator) and do another side of the car. I love the nozzle on the can because it produces a very fine mist which however is why you must spray it very close to the applicator cloth as to not waste it in the air. Doesn't bother me to do this. But keep it close to the cloth when sprayed and make the cloth damp with product. This product if used as I suggest here will be good for many applications before the can is empty. This is my first time using a ceramic and I feel as if this product amount of ceramic used is more than others. That may be the reason why the container is smaller than the others it is competing against.Would I buy again? Yes. But I also use another brand of high-quality synthetic as well. They seem to work well and don't cause an negative effect one to the other. Always slick and very shiny.
Great product, leaves the paint very shiny, but be mindful that it may leave streaks if not properly buffed out with a microfiber towel. The towel included is very high quality. This is a very easy to use product that leaves the car looking nearly showroom quality.
Incredible shine. Easy to apply, works as described.
I have bought this about three times. I have switched from Maguires quick detailer to this. In my opinion it lasts longer and the shine is much more vibrant. You do have to work it in a lil more but it’s worth the extra work. It also works well on plastic parts. I live in a dusty area and you do have to make sure it’s all buffed in and dry as it will attract dust if not applied properly. Once dry I just simply use my leaf blower to blow the layer of dust right off. I have a large black truck and this stuff saves me from waxing it as it really seems to protect it over the past two years
In this review, I will discuss three products that I have first hand experience in using. This review is to help anyone who wants to preserve their vehicle(s)’ paint finish. The products I will list in order are: 1) Shine Armor 2) Mothers CMC Ceramic Spray coating 3) Zymol Cleaner Wax.First, I gave Shine Armor 3 Stars due to the faulty trigger sprayer and the 8 Fl. Oz bottle and the priceI ordered 2 bottles of Shine Armor. Both bottles came with faulty spray triggers. You cannot squeeze the trigger without breaking it. I looked for some type of locking mechanism to prevent the sprayer from accidentally releasing the contents. No locking mechanism...You will need to get a 16 Fl. Oz. Bottle with a spray trigger and pour the Shine Armor into the spray bottle. You can easily pour 2 bottles of Shine Armor into 1 spray bottle.Keep the empty Shine Armor Bottle(s) for reference to the instructions.Shake the bottle well to be sure all ingredients mix thoroughly as with any type of liquid wax, etc..Following the instructions, precisely, I added 2 coats of Shine Armor to the passenger side of my 2003 Lincoln Navigator’s hood. With each coat, I sprayed a mist directly onto a damp microfiber cloth and sprayed a mist directly onto the passenger half of the hood. Each coat I massaged into the paint and then buffed with a clean, dry microfiber cloth, NOT allowing it to dry as the instructions clearly state. On the driver’s side (half) of the hood I used Mothers CMC Ceramic Spray Coating that comes in a 24 Fl. Oz. spray bottle with working trigger. I applied 2 coats.Shake the bottle well to be sure all ingredients mix thoroughly as with any type of liquid wax, etc..As the instructions state, I sprayed the liquid onto a clean, dry microfiber cloth and massaged the liquid into the paint until it “DISAPPEARS” allowing a few minutes for it to “BOND” to the paint surface.NOTE: The Mothers instructions state to work the liquid into the paint until it “disappears,” then wait a few minutes for it to “bond” to the surface before using a separate, clean and dry microfiber cloth to thoroughly buff.Comparing the results of the two products I could not feel any difference in the “Slick Test” using my fingernails. Both products did a very good job as you can see in the photos.Yes. The Shine Armor is purple and does have a “grape” scent as another reviewer mentioned. Both products were easy to use and easy to remove. As for longevity... that remains to be seen which product will last longer as I just completed the applications before writing this review. As for “water beading,” fortunately there is rain in our forecast for this afternoon that will allow to me to see real world results.Pricing: For the price of 1 bottle of Shine Armor (8 Fl. Oz.) you can buy 1 bottle of Mothers CMC Ceramic Spray Coating (24 Fl. Oz.) and have three times the amount of product as compared to Shine Armor.Zymol: I have been using this product ever since I purchased my Lincoln Navigator new in 2003. As you can see in the photos the paint still looks new.Yes! It is the original paint. However, I keep my Lincoln Navigator garaged when not driven. The first two years of the Navigator’s life was spent under a breathable car cover, parked outside. Although not as good as an enclosed garage or even under a carport, the car cover did offer protection against bird droppings, etc.. The car cover gave some protection against the sun’s UV Rays. The Navigator’s painted surfaces (with exception of the hood just tested for the review) have all had Zymol Cleaner Wax applied all these years. The Zymol Cleaner was is not only a mild cleaner but is also a paint moisturizer. Zymol has ALL natural ingredients such as Aloe Vera and Walnut meal. (Walnut meal is the mild cleaner for removing scratches, etc..)The other photos were taken of my 2011 Ford Taurus (bought new - always garaged when not driven). All paint surfaces have had nothing but Zymol applied.I personally recommend Zymol to maintain the paint and would use Shine Armor or Mothers CMC Ceramic Spray Coating for in between waxing to extend the life of the wax job.I hope this review helps.
This is the best product I’ve used on my car. It gave my Audi a shine that causes people to ask if it’s a new car…This is honestly the best and easiest to use.
